Read on to learn more about Elizabeth, her racing tour across the United States and how she finds balance with her training.

Hometown? Mobile, Alabama (I spent 13 years in Atlanta before moving back home 2 years ago.)

Occupation? Account Executive for SkinCeuticals. I cover the Mississippi coast, Alabama coast and Florida panhandle.

Biggest accomplishment? I set a goal in 2010 to run a half marathon or marathon in every state. I wanted to see the country and when I started running, this seemed like a great way to do it. Through this journey, I've met other runners/bloggers across the country that have become life long friends. I've completed 48 states- I've run 59 half marathons, 11 marathons, including two Boston marathons, and a bunch of 10k and 5ks. I have two states left, New Mexico and South Dakota and will run those in May and June.

Favorite thing about Mobile? Being near my family again, not sitting in traffic anymore and being near the water. I have also really loved seeing Mobile grow and change for the good- especially in Midtown and Downtown and look forward to what the future holds for this city.

Favorite Class at Mission Fitness? I love them all, but for sure Sunrise Yoga with Deana

What motivates you to stay consistent with your workouts? Working out makes me feel good. It's such a great stress relief for me that I can't imagine not working out.

What do you like to do when you’re not working out at Mission Fitness? Running, traveling with my husband, Rich, and hanging out with our dog, Olive.

Any tips for current or prospective members? Change it up and try something new. I know that 6am is tough, but you will feel great after an early class- especially yoga on Thursdays. If you are just getting started in a fitness journey reward yourself when you hit your goals. It will keep you motivated.
