Sweet Potato + Black Bean Chili

Here’s a healthy recipe that I love to make for lunch or dinner for the week!
1 lb of ground turkey
1 can of black beans (drained and rinsed)
1 can of diced tomatoes (I like fire roasted)
1 container of chicken broth (32oz)
2 sweet potatoes (chopped)
1 yellow onion (diced)
2 cups of baby spinach (chopped)
1 tbsp each: Cumin, Garlic Powder, Salt & Chili Powder
1 tsp of pepper and cayenne pepper 👩🏻🍳
Steps:
Brown ground turkey and yellow onion in 1 tbsp of oil over medium heat in a soup pan.
Add remaining ingredients.
Bring to a boil and then reduce to simmer, cover and cook for 30 minutes.
Serve with optional chopped avocado or shredded cheese
