Everyone deserves to feel safe. Full stop.

Dwell ensures that happens for some the world's most vulnerable people. Those fleeing horrors no human should ever endure.

Dwell provides resettled refugee families practical support in their new life, meaningful relationships with new neighbors and opportunities to develop a better future in Mobile.

🫶WHAT IS A REFUGEE?

A person who has been forced to leave their country in order to escape war, persecution, or natural disaster.

🫶HOW MANY REFUGEES ARE THERE?

There are 43.4 million refugees in the world.

40% are children.

It takes years of screening, testing, scanning and waiting to receive "official" UNHCR refugee status and the protections, rights and assistance that come with it.

🫶DO ALL REFUGEES FIND SAFETY?

Only 1% of refugees will get resettled around the world.

Those "lucky" 1% do not have a say in where home will be.

Refugees arrive in a foreign land, often with only the clothes on their back, not speaking the language, understanding the culture or knowing a single soul.

That's where Dwell comes in.

Since 2015, Dwell has helped the most vulnerable individuals in-grain themselves into our community + give them the opportunity to thrive.
