How We Sweat for Good
When Mission Fitness was more of a dream than a reality, we were sure of three things:
The desire to create a boutique fitness studio that encompassed many different fitness methods;
The need to fill a boutique fitness void in Midtown Mobile;
The business model had to have a mission component - 'sweating for good.'
With all of that in mind, Mission Fitness slowly took shape. In August, we opened our doors for the first time at our Pop-Up on the Rooftop event. The intent of that event was to invite the community to the fitness studio, showcase our vast array of class offerings, illuminate other small businesses in Mobile (Polish Boutique, FOY Superfoods, FitKits, and Everything Delightful Photography) and, most importantly, support a stellar local charity in Mobile.
Because of their investment in promoting the health, fitness, education and social responsibility of children in Mobile and Baldwin Counties and their belief that a big impact on our area's children can be created by a small motivated group, it was an easy decision to reach out and partner with the Fuse Project. Because of the support of each of YOU, we were able to raise $675 for the Fuse Project. These funds will help support programs in our area that enrich the lives of so many children on the Gulf Coast. Read more about the Fuse Project and their amazing impact on our community. Thank you to the Fuse Project for their partnership and thank YOU, and members and participants, for enabling us to make this contribution in the name of Mission Fitness and Sweating for Good.
Will you help us continue this philanthropic momentum? We want to hear from YOU - our Legacy Members. Is there a cause that is near and dear to your heart? Tell us! We want to know! Each quarter, with your help, we will choose a local charity to illuminate and support with valuable resources. Just one of the many ways we hope to Sweat for Good.
