MEET [Cassaundra] Meet Mission Fitness Legacy Member, Cassaundra Burks. Cassaundra saw us rolling our fabulous water rowers in to the studio before we even opened, and she was immediately intrigued. Not long after that she stopped by Mission Fitness to join and jumped in with both feet. Learn more about Cassaundra!
Hometown? Well, Mobile is on my birth certificate, yet I grew up in Tallahassee, Florida.
Occupation? Private Banker with Renasant Bank
Biggest accomplishment? I am most proud of my family. Experiencing and contributing to the growth conscientious - kind people warms my heart. I am married to my childhood sweetheart, and we have four wonderful kids.
Favorite thing about Mobile? My favorite thing about Mobile is my neighborhood. Living in downtown Mobile has been awesome. The convenience to art, culture, eclectic dining and music has been wonderful. And living walking distance from the historic Ben Mary Public Library, Mobile Saenger Theatre and Mardi Gras parades isn't too shabby!

What motivates you to stay consistent with your workouts? This fabulous, little, perfect gym has become my 'HAPPY PLACE!' Working out on a consistent basis has been super easy because of how great I feel since joining. There was life before Mission Fitness and my life after Mission Fitness, everything is more delightful now.
What do you like to do when you’re not working out at Mission Fitness? I am a firm believer in improvement. My life's goal is to always leave a situation or experience better than I found it; therefore I donate my time to worth causes. My most consistent passion has been serving on the board of directors of the Alabama Contemporary Art Center in downtown Mobile. It is a wonderful place with an abundance of artistic expression.
